Filmish: Comic Book Essays on Film Theory

I've finally finished work on "Filmish", a comic that I've been working on that uses comics to discuss different film theories.

Godzilla.

I borrowed a Wacom Tablet to see how they worked. I decided to colour a panel from Monsters! as practice and this is how it turned out. I had to re-draw the bottom half of Godzilla with the tablet, and once I got the pressure sensitivity working it became obvious that this can be a very useful tool!

I've been working on a new film theory comic over the last few weeks. The inking is done and soon it'll be ready for printing. I'll be collecting it together with my other theory comics in a wee book that will go on sale in Filmhouse and possibly elsewhere before the start of December.
