The Derby Ram

Digging through my old files I came across this again, a piece I did for the third volume of the Solipsistic Pop anthology.  It's strange to look back - I'm still pleased of a lot of this but there are parts that look really clunky to me now.  Some of the imagery in this is really appealing still, but I think you can too easily spot the parts from the original folk song and the parts I added myself.

Yesterday was hourly comic day.  Here is the second part of my day.  I switched pens at this point after a whole day of frustration working with an uncooperative Staedtler.

Hourly Comic Day 2013 (part 1)

I'm participating in Hourly Comic Day.  The idea is to draw a comic based on your day for every hour you're awake.  This is part one of my efforts, from 4am - 3.  You can see my efforts from last year here.
